Veterinary Surgeon - Wymondham, Norfolk

Full time, small animal veterinary surgeon required for a busy, friendly practice. We have a purpose built surgery with excellent facilities, in the picturesque market town of Wymondham, Norfolk. Wymondham has excellent transport links and is a lively bustling town. We are only a short drive away from the beautiful countryside and coast. We are a team of 4 vets, 6 nurses and 5 support staff. Facilities include a digital x-ray, ultrasound and full Idexx in-house lab.

A typical day consists of both consultations and operations. We are 100% small animal treating mostly dogs and cats, and the occasional small furry and feathered pet too. Experience in small animal surgery required, especially routine operations: neutering, dental descale and extractions, lump removals etc. You will be expected to take part in our OOH rota which is typically one night on call during the week and 1 in 4 weekends, with a Saturday morning surgery. A dedicated nurse is always on call to support the vet.

The ideal candidate will be confident, have experience and will join a team of experienced and supportive colleagues. A graduate vet would be considered. Candidate should hold a full clean driving licence and must be MRCVS registered.
