Veterinary Technical Sales Adviser – Hampshire

A rare and exciting non clinical opportunity has become available for an RVN in the Hampshire region to become a technical sales advisor for a well regarded company.

My clients are distributors of Veterinary implants and instruments, with their own UK manufacturing facility and product design services. They are a privately owned company that has supplied the Veterinary market worldwide since 2013 and have had continued success even through the current pandemic.

You would be a customer-facing part of the supply chain, with stores and dispatch activity. This postion is full time, working Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm with no weekends or OOH's, making for a great work life balance.

Duties include:

• Customer order entry
• Goods picking and labelling
• Invoice and shipping of goods
• Customer communication (phone-email)
• Technical backup to the sales team
• Attending shows and exhibitions when required
• Local sales visits when required

Candidate skills required:

• Veterinary practice knowledge
• Microsoft Office /Excel
• Good communication
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work with tight delivery schedules
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Good numeracy
• Punctual

Addition skills desired but not essential:

• Working knowledge of Sage or Quickbooks
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience in a Veterinary orthopaedic setting
