An exciting opportunity for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Nursing has arisen within the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences at our Brackenhurst Campus. The successful candidate will teach primarily on the veterinary nursing, delivering preferably in the areas of evidence-based veterinary nursing care, animal rehabilitation therapies and emergency and critical care nursing.

Applicants sought for this post will be registered Veterinary Nurses with a degree in Veterinary Nursing/animal science or an equivalent qualification.  You will ideally hold a higher education teaching qualification with proven Higher Education teaching experience in Veterinary Nursing/animal science/health and proven industry experience in practical veterinary nursing skills.

You will be well organised with excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. You will play an active role in team development and be able to work effectively with others as a member of the academic team.
