The Practice
Icknield Veterinary Group is a 3 branch mixed practice with our main hospital in Luton and a further 2 branches in Dunstable and Harpenden. We have close ties with charities including Blue Cross and CPL. We are dedicated to the improvement of animal health and welfare in the area through high quality clinical services and client education. Our main hospital in Luton offers a challenging and rewarding environment in which to work. We have all the necessary toys including ultrasound scanner, endoscope, in-house lab and digital radiography.

Location
Beds and Herts borders. Excellent airport, train and motorway links

The Role
We are looking for a full-time small animal vet to join our friendly team to cover duties in our main hospital and branches. We would welcome anyone wishing to improve their medicine or surgical development or those that wish to become specialists in a particular field. The role will be heavily supported by our already experienced veterinary team and we have a full quota of registered and student nurses available at all times. RCVS accredited and nurse training centre, you will be expected to help with their training and development. The role includes no OOH and a 1:2 Saturday rota (1:6 full Saturday full charge)

Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will be proactive, organised, efficient and enthusiastic individual dedicated to delivering outstanding care and enjoy working up the exciting cases we receive. They must be a good communicator and comfortable with  working some sole charge hours.
