Job Details
We are looking for a veterinary surgeon that will work alongside our lovely lead vet and another associate vet. Pontefract is a busy practice with a loyal client base. All experience levels considered as there is support available.
We offer a 4 day working week and have our own dedicated 24 hour centre at Thurnscoe which is 30 minutes away and has a CT scanner for further diagnostic options.
Support for those wanting to work towards certificate level with full funding available. this role is full time working 39 hours a week.

The practice comprises 3 consult rooms, 2 surgical theatres, and with renovation plans being finalised will have a new improved layout coming that will aid high standard of clinical care.
Has digital x-ray, ultrasound and in-house lab equipment with up to date analysers and external lab support and services.
Pontefract is in West Yorkshire and is the gateway to the beautiful Yorkshire dales. Once an industrial heartland, the region has been transformed and boasts excellent facilities for music, sport, culture and outdoor activities.
Pontefract boasts its own race course, indoor ski slope, indoor ice climbing wall and other entertainments at its large entertainment area, Xcaspe.
The city of Leeds is only 30 minutes away and is rich in industrial heritage. Although it is a city well known for history and architecture, it is also a stone throw away from the Yorkshire countryside, where you can explore the Yorkshire dales or visit several stately homes and gardens.
