We are looking for someone keen to establish themselves as a Lead Vet whilst working in a supportive network. You must be an experienced vet with a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further. You will be confident working sole charge at times with the ability to make sound clinical judgement. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience. Ideally you will have some experience leading a small team or have a willingness to gain that experience with some close mentoring in leadership and branch management.

This position would suit a Vet who has a keen interest in medicine or surgery, ideally you will be a certificate holder or wish to study towards a certificate.

The role is working 4 days per week and 1 in 3 weekends.

Competitive salary package dependent on experience, to include:

• Basic salary of £30k-£55k depending of experience 
• Vehicle or £2,500 vehicle allowance
• £6,600 accommodation allowance
• £1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave
• VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid
• 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

Medivet Wimborne is a one vet practice which is supported by our nearby Medivet clinics. The branch has close links to our Dorchester 24-hour hospital for clinical and inpatient support.
