RVN – Leicestershire

An exciting opportunity has arisen at this small animal practice for an enthusiastic RVN to join this friendly and welcoming team.

My client can offer a fantastic location to work, as well as boasting some state of the art equipment and plenty of onsite parking.

They are a  welcoming team of 3 vets, 3 nurses, 1 practice manager, 1 kennel assistant and 3 outstanding receptionists’ looking for a friendly RVN to join them in their great practice.

By joining them you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential including theatre work and nurse consults, and you need to be a team player with outstanding communication skills and the ability to give and take feedback constructively. You will also be registered with the RCVS or in the process of doing so. 

To apply you will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare. Experience of clinical coaching would also be an advantage but is not essential.

This a full time position of 40 hours per week with a shared weekend rota of 1 in 3. The practice is open between 8am and 7pm week days and 9am until 5pm Saturday and 10am until 3.30pm on Sundays with shifts split between these hours. There are no OOH.
