Surgical Intern - Hunslet, Leeds, West Yorkshire

Surgical intern required for referral practice in Leeds. Salary £30k. Rota to include on call and weekends. Pension and health care schemes.

Location
frank. Pet Surgeons. is located on the Orbital Industry Park, just off junction 4 of the M621 and 1.3 miles from Leeds train station.

The Role
The role of the surgical intern is to provide care for the patients at all times, working on a rota with other veterinary surgeons.

In addition they work under the supervision of the surgeon to develop their surgical skills. Empathy and understanding in their communication with pet owners and referring vets is essential. Hospital attendance and on call duties via telephone are required. Surgical interns are expected to maintain their professional status with the RCVS.
