Veterinary Surgeon - Swansea

Work a 4-day week with no OOH, weekend rota of 1-in-5 (Sat 9-12am, Sunday 9.30-10.30am) in beautiful Gower, South Wales.

The Practice
RCVS accredited, small animal, first opinion practice. Modern, well equipped with a varied case load. Excellent genuine support in a great team. We refer as little as we can, working cases up to the best of our abilities and performing wide and varied surgeries in house, with awesome facilities. We work in a fairly flat hierarchy and the team work together well, everyone is encouraged to speak freely.

Location
On edge of Gower Peninsula, 10 minutes for city centre. 

The Role
Small animal veterinary surgeon, room to grow and learn, we have 3 vets working to certificates, we have the kit for and regularly perform TTA, TPLO, CCWO, Exlaps, eye surgery, fracture repairs, video endoscopy/bronchoscopy, ultrasound etc. 

We are always looking to improve and do bigger better things. We have excellent new lab in house and use the best external lab in all the land so you can really get stuck into medical cases too if that is your thing. We have slit lamp bimicroscopy, operating microscope and loops if you like ophthalmology.

Do not think of Gower Vets as some pokey back water in South Wales, we are not, this is a quality fun, exciting place to work.  Here you will remember that being a vet can be enjoyable.

The Package
Four-day working week, with one weekend worked in five. 33 days annual leave/year. No OOH or on call. Best paid vets for miles around. We are the employer of choice. Commensurate with experience.
