A fantastic opportunity has arisen for two roles at our Lawley, Telford (Oakville Vets) practice. A full time Lead Veterinary Surgeon and a full time Veterinary Surgeon.

Our practice has a very long-standing and friendly client base who appreciate the personal service we provide. The practice has a fully supportive team that enjoy lots of laughs and are dedicated to their clients and patients. This practice runs on a 4 day working week with time off in lieu for bank holiday working.

The practice is ideally situated close to the town centre and is well-equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound and an in-house laboratory. This practice also feeds into our 24 hour hospital in Shrewsbury, making sure that all patients can receive the best care using all our facilities available through Medivet. 

What you'll bring to the team?

You must be an experienced vet with a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically, with an interest in ultrasound, and surgically. You would also have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years' UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience.

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary up to £55,000, dependent on experience 

• £5,800 accommodation allowance
• Vehicle or £2,500 vehicle allowance
• £1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave
• VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid
• 5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays
