CALLING ALL SMALL ANIMAL VETERINARY NURSES IN THE BERKSHIRE AREA!

Here at Active Vetcare Beechwood and Twyford we are looking for a permanent FULL-TIME qualified nurse to join our fantastic and friendly team.

The nursing team are constantly challenged and engaged at Active Vet Care due to the encouragement of autonomy in the nursing team, whilst ensuring that they are still supported as much as required. The veterinary team have ultimate trust in the nurse's capabilities which results in the nurses having the opportunity to consistently work at the top end of their capabilities. This results in the nurse's role at Active vet care being predominantly focussed on the more challenging and thus rewarding side of the job. These include inpatient care for complex medical and surgical cases, involvement in a bespoke approach to anaesthesia for each case, nurse clinics/triage and even stitch ups and mass removals.

In return we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated qualified veterinary nurse to join our friendly team in our RCVS accredited practices in Woodley and Twyford, Berkshire.

This position is for 40 hours a week involving various day shift patterns (between 07:30 and 1900) and 1 in 4 Saturday shifts (between 08:00 – 1300) and no Bank Holidays. The ideal person will be a great team player, have good customer service skills and a passion for animal welfare.
