Veterinary Surgeon – Kent

We are looking for Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon, to join a six-vet General Practice right on the south coast of Kent. They are RCVS Accredited General Practice and are also a registered Veterinary Nurse Training Practice.

General Practice for all animal species which accepts referrals of avian (bird), reptile and all exotic species from other veterinary practices as well as assisting with zoological/wildlife collections across Kent and beyond; in addition to the above they also take in surgical referrals for both orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery.

The practice is part of 4 branches and the mix is Small Animal, Exotics (reptiles and birds), Wildlife and veterinary services to local Zoos. 

This role is open to recent graduates as well as experienced Veterinary Surgeons.

Salary is dependent on experience.

Rota:

• Full Time - 5-day week 
• Out of hours 1 in 6 
• Weekend rota is 1 in 5. You will have surgery on Sat morning and then be ON CALL for rest of weekend. 
• Consults - 10 min SA, 20 mins Exotics or more detailed cases.
