RVN – Buckinghamshire

My clients are a friendly, patient focussed, small animal practice in Buckinghamshire. They are able to offer their patients the very best 24-hour on site care, whilst still ensuring staff can maintain a good work life balance.

They are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse to join the team. They encourage their nursing team to take an active role in patient care – running dental and weight clinics, performing schedule 3 tasks, caring for inpatients, engaging with clients etc.

Minimal OOH and approximately 1:9 weekend duties.

They are a very well-equipped practice, benefiting from static and dental x-ray, a range of fibre-optic endoscopes, portable ultrasound, tonometry, multi-parameter monitoring equipment and an in-house laboratory including coagulation profiles and blood typing. They are lucky to have a wonderful, diverse team, composed of senior and junior registered nurses, trainee nurses and animal care assistance, who support an expanding team of veterinary surgeons ranging from recent graduates to two Advanced Practitioners in Small Animal Medicine.

CPD is well funded and encouraged, and further progression with certificates in special interests would be fully supported.
