Veterinary Surgeon - Galashiels, Innerleithen & Selkirk

We have an exciting opportunity for a veterinary surgeon to join our team in the beautiful Scottish Borders.

The Practice
Border Vets a well-established practice in Galashiels, is based in the fine surrounds of the Southern Uplands; but is conveniently within walking distance of a 50 minute train ride from Edinburgh Waverley, or a 1 hour car commute. The area offers superb outdoor activities in a fine, yet affordable, rural setting.

The Role
The role would see you enjoy a 4 day week; averaging 45 hours weekly, including 1 in 4 Saturday mornings with no OOH.

The role will require occasional sole charge, so 2 years plus experience is desired. We have a 4 vet 5 nurse team, with facilities including, ultrasound, digital x-rays and dental x-rays.

Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will be an RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon with ideally 2 years’ experience
