Veterinary Surgeon - Knutsford, Cheshire

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic new vet to expand our veterinary team. Full-time role, however part-time applicants will be considered. 4-day weeks, 1:4 Saturday mornings and no on call duties.

We are a leading independently owned practice based in an affluent market town in the heart of Cheshire. We provide honest, tailored, care in a warm, welcoming and relaxed environment and have a list of toys that includes full in-house Idexx lab, DR dental digital x-ray, CR standard x-ray, rigid endoscope, doppler ultrasound, ECG and electrocautery.

You would work alongside dermatology and ophthalmology certificate holders who already take referrals as well as offering an excellent first opinion service. Visiting specialists in cardiology, soft tissue surgery, diagnostic imaging and orthopaedics support our team when required.

The Practice
We are a family run independently owned practice with a friendly team of 2.5 vets, 3 qualified nurses and our 3 receptionist and supported by the practice manager. We’ve a friendly focused team focused on offering gold standard clinical care and exceptional customer service.

Location
Based in an affluent market town in the heart of Cheshire.

The Role
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will work to safeguard the health and welfare of animals. You will combine your knowledge of animal physiology, nutrition, and medicine with practical skills to diagnose illnesses, prescribe medicines and perform surgery. You would work alongside dermatology and ophthalmology certificate holders who already take referrals as well as offering an excellent first opinion service. Visiting specialists in cardiology, soft tissue surgery, diagnostic imaging and orthopaedics support our team when required.

We are happy to support new graduates or those returning from a career break and we are keen to support career progression with online and external CPD.
