An exciting opportunity is now available for a new graduate or recently qualified vet to join the expanding small animal division of James Herriot’s famous Skeldale Veterinary Centre in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. 

This is a new position due to expansion of our small animal side, which includes developing the surgery into a 24 hour practice with a dedicated night team of vets and nurses.  As such, this position is for a vet to work 4 days per week with 1 in 4 weekends alongside our current team of 7 day vets.  

This is a brilliant chance to work in a busy, encouraging environment with an established team of vets who will train, develop and support you.  We offer a competitive salary package starting from £31k, 25 days holiday, CPD, and memberships;  further education and certificate funding is available to the right candidate. Vehicle and accommodation options are also available.
