RVN - East Sussex

My client is looking for an enthusiastic RVN to join their team,

This is an established practice with dedicated clientele meaning you can build good relationships with the clients and their pets,

The ideal applicant should be experienced and have excellent communication and organisational skills

You must be able to work independently or as part of a team.

The position is full time with a structured working week of, ideally around 40 hours,

This practice enjoys utilising their RVNs to their full ability and you will be encouraged to develop your skills to a high level.

Nurses are expected to carry out all nursing duties to the level current veterinary legislation will permit and thus applicants should be confident in sampling techniques and other minor surgical techniques as permitted by the current schedule.

Specific nurse duties include will involve the routine surgery housekeeping of maintaining a clean clinical environment at all times, as well as a varied rota on ward, theatre or holding nursing clinics for minor problems [dressing changes, nail clips etc], but also obesity clinics and both feline and canine senior health clinics.

There will be the opportunity to complete in house CPD

My client is looking for a proactive RVN who has an idea of their future planned CPD

There is no on call in this role however if there is sickness you will expected to share the cover,
