Veterinary Surgeon - Farnham, Surrey

Opportunity to join progressive, supportive small animal practice in Farnham, Surrey.

The Practice
We are a fabulous team of vets and nurses working in a beautiful part of Surrey. Our team of vets and nurses are very experienced and work together to provide a high standard of care to our lovely clients. We are a very supportive team and there is a family atmosphere. We have a great rota which means there is a good work-life balance.

Our nursing team is very experienced and are able to fully support the vet team.

Location
We are located in a beautiful part of Surrey. Plenty of open spaces for mountain biking/running/walking. Within 45 minutes of central London by train and close to Heathrow and Gatwick. Farnham is an old market town with many shops and restaurants.

The Role
Consulting - 15 minute appointments. Surgery - general surgery, soft tissue. Ability to perform basic ultrasound examination. Work up cases to a high standard.

There are no OOH. The surgery is closed on a Sunday. One Saturday morning in four. 4 days a week- 8.30am-6.30pm.

Successful Candidate
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated candidate who works well as part of a team. They must have excellent communication skills and be able to work up cases well. Ideally the candidate must have at least 1 year of clinical/surgical experience and be able to perform routine surgery.

The Package
Salary dependent on experience. We encourage CPD and give a generous allowance.
