Job Details
* 2 vacancies* at a busy veterinary hospital in Northampton.
The large RCVS accredited hospital has a friendly team of 12 vets and experienced support team of 14 RVNs, 5 SVNs, 2 VCAs and 12 support staff. The hospital has been recently expanded and refurbished, offering orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, laparoscopy, digital x-ray and dental x-ray, endoscopy, doppler ultrasound and gold standard level of inpatient care with a 24 hour nursing team. The practice also offers clients 15-minute consultations.
The role offers a great work-life balance with:
- 4-day week - over 40 hours
- 5 weeks annual leave plus BHs and your birthday off too
- 2 Saturdays in 8 weeks
- Night time OOHs covered by Vets Now
- 1:8 in-patient care rota
The team are looking for 2 vets - one with 1+ years' experience and one with 2 years’ experience.The ideal candidates would be a relaxed, personable and dedicated with a passion for medicine and a skill set to complement the practice team which includes a Cert AVP plus 3 vets working towards Cert AVP in either SAS or ECC.
The package includes a salary of £35,000-50,000, plus £1,000 CPD funding with 5 days. Certificates encouraged and funded RCVS/BVA/VDS fees paid.
