Technical Services Vet (Qualified Vet) - South of UK

Consult Search and Selection are currently working on behalf of a global veterinary pharmaceutical business to appoint a Technical Services Vet to their existing team.

This role requires a qualified vet with experience in large animal, FPA, companion animal and equine ideally. However, large animal experience is the most important experience to have.

This is an exciting role within the business and will offer someone an opportunity to further develop their commercial experience.

The role will be field based, covering the South of the UK, therefore this would suit someone based South-central.

Key Responsibilities:

• To train and support sales staff on product portfolio, ensuring a sound technically knowledge in order to maximise sales opportunities.
• Ensure technical knowledge is up to date across the business
• Identify areas of improvement in sales performance based on products
• Work closely with marketing to ensure technically correct information is used
• Identify new product potential
• Communicate and liaise with key customers
• Present at CPD meetings for veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses and veterinary students, delivering both technical and commercial messages

This is a technical role which requires a fully qualified vet with large animal experience, who has moved into a commercial position.
