The Practice
CityVets is a proudly independent, family run veterinary practice, who have a passion for providing the best veterinary care possible. We also care about our staffs’ interests, job satisfaction and welfare and nurture a very strong team spirit in every sector of our 50 strong team of vets, nurses and receptionists. We have an exceptional team, all with a passion to provide a great service and a love for the job and the ethos of the practice. Our practice is growing rapidly and we are investing in the facilities, equipment and staff to maintain this momentum.

The Role
Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years of small animal experience and be confident to work independently. They will be primarily involved with first opinion cases and routine surgery at branches as well as at our Hospital. Case continuity with hospitalised animals is strongly supported.  

Successful Candidate
Our ideal candidate would be a relaxed, personable, confident, hard working, dedicated vet, ideally with a field of interest that we could help develop and fund, to benefit the candidates job satisfaction as well as benefit the practice team with their expertise. Many of our vets have certificates and diplomas or are currently studying towards them, providing a great multidisciplinary expertise that is often utilised for case discussions for complex issues. The ideal candidate should be keen to embrace our preventative healthcare protocols and gold standard customer care, case work up and clinical standards.  

The Package
All the usual benefits, £1000 CPD allowance, funding of Certificate course (Terms and Conditions apply). Option of 4.5 or 4 day week. Equally shared out of hours and week-end rota.
