Veterinary Surgeon - Merseyside

My client in the Merseyside region has an exciting position available for an experienced vet with a medical bias to join their forward thinking, hospital based team.

This positon would be full time, working an attractive 4 day week with weekends on a rota, there is a dedicated night team in place so there is no OOH's or on call required making for an excellent work life balance.

You will have a fantastic team around you for support which includes 1 soft tissue surgeon, 2 orthopaedic surgeons and imaging vet as well as an experienced nursing complement and support staff.

The practice is undergoing refurbishment at present & will be newly refurbished with CT installed by the end of the year.

The practice has a friendly client base who appreciate the personal service we provide. Main areas of this position is to provide high quality care for the inpatients whilst maintaining the relationship with referring veterinary surgeons. This vacancy would suit somebody who has just finished or is working towards a medicine certificate.

You must be an experienced vet with a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years' UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience.
