Jaffa Walk through
We are a cat-only practice aiming to offer the highest levels of clinical, patient and client care. We have 30 minute consultation times and go in-depth for every patient. We like our nurses to nurse – caring for the cases from start to finish, liaising with owners, spending time getting to know patients and providing their own individual needs.
We like to be at the cutting edge of the cat-vet world, communicating with felinophile vets around the globe on a daily basis, but the emphasis all the time is patient care – we aim to things right from ground level up. Our practice and our protocols are designed to offer minimum stress tailoring medications and procedures according to the cat’s temperament. This attention to detail includes our coffee – fresh-ground for every cup – visiting specialists claim we offer the best cuppa on the circuit.
The practice is in a quiet location in a residential area on the north side of the city, minutes walk from open downsland. The practice premises are very light and airy – different from some places where you are in artificial light all day – very depressing! And we have lovely gardens where we sit out for lunch.
The role is that of a vet nurse including theatre, inpatients, reception, assisting consults, general domestic tasks – you know the score. We do not market heavily or have you involved promoting sales – we are a clinically-led practice.
A friendly smiley person with a love of cats who enjoys interacting with owners! In-depth cat-knowledge not required as full in-house training will be given. Experienced qualified nurse would be our ideal but unqualified experienced, or qualified with limited experience all considered.
Excellent salary, lovely place of work, housing close to practice provided for first 12 months if relocating, funded CPD, sociable hours, and just the best way of working. Opportunity to study for higher qualifications in feline nursing.
