The Practice

This 24 hour tier 3 hospital offers first class companion pet care. Purpose built with multi operating theatres, CT scanner, digital x ray and equipment you would expect, the hospital also operates its own dedicated OHH service team so would not be a part of this role. Those successful applicants are encouraged to undertake a certificate to further their career, all with the advantage of clinical freedom.

• Working circa 40 hours per week over 3.5 days

• £2,000 CPD / 5 days allowance per annum

The Role 

As an experienced Vet Surgeon, you will be highly patient focused, possessing first class communication skills with your clients and colleagues alike. This is an all round role that will involve consults lasting 15 minutes together with routine 1^st opinion surgery. Should you have experience in orthopaedic work then this would be especially desirable and actively encouraged.

About You 

To be considered as an experienced Vet Surgeon, you’ll be: 

- RCVS registered

 
AND 

- At least 2 years UK experience in a UK practice, you’ll have experience of working in a busy first opinion environment. Naturally, you are a passionate people person and thrive working as part of a team.

Willingness to expand your clinical skills by undertaking additional courses to further your knowledge of the would also be an advantage. This would be supported by the practice.
