Veterinary Surgeon (Full or Part Time) - Derbyshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a veterinary surgeon to join this fun, friendly, cake loving team in Derbyshire. This successful small animal practice is close to the A38 with good transport links to Nottingham, Burton and the Peak District. They’re seeking an enthusiastic, recently qualified or experienced veterinary surgeon to join the friendly team on a full or part time basis.

This modern surgery has been designed to industry leading standards, with state of the art equipment and in-house laboratory facilities. They are a rabbit friendly practice and a silver standard ICC cat friendly clinic, working regularly with Cats Protection.

The practice partner is a 1999 Bristol graduate and leads a supportive team of 2 vets, 4 nurses and 3 client care advisors.

The ideal candidate to join this professional team will have good general small animal surgical and medical skills as well as a good knowledge of working up cases. This rewarding position includes 1-in-3 weekends on a rota basis and some sole charge but no OOH.  The role may suit a very confident new graduate but some experience would be preferred. You will be part of a team dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care.
