Job Details

Fancy a break from Brexit? Why not consider a move to a tropical location where English is the first language and MRCVS is recognised for easy registration as a Veterinary surgeon. Singapore is a melting pot of arts, culture, music, the high city life and the old local charm, plus it is the doorstep to amazing weekend travel destinations in South East Asia.

You will work alongside UK and Australian graduates in a predominantly small animal practice that sees exotics with a caseload that is interesting, wide and varied. The selected candidate will be involved in a busy practice with a loyal and varied client base that provides a variety of medicine and surgical caseload to learn new or improve on your current skills.

We are a 16-year established non corporate practice that is well equipped, purpose built, and spacious. Our clinic is nestled in a safe suburban neighbourhood well connected by public transport for exploring the city.

We make full use of our full suite of Idexx machines, ultrasound, digital x-ray, cryosurgical equipment, gastroscope, tonometry, etc.

Vet to nurse ratio is 1:2. Our nurses are energetic and well trained, and many are either in the process of getting their veterinary tech diploma or are already qualified.

The principal is an Honorary fellow of the University of Melbourne and qualified with a special interest in aquatic medicine. Due to his expertise, we see anything from valuable koi fish to macaques, to the more common family dog, cat, rabbit and small furry, which makes each day fresh and exciting.

The clinic is open Mon-Sat 9.30am-1pm, 3pm-7.30pm. We are closed on Sundays and public holidays.

We are closed on Sundays and public holidays- whereby there is an on-call roster for inpatients and ongoing cases only. Critical cases are referred to a 24- hour facility.
