ipswich dogDue to their continued success, Ipswich Vets4Pets is looking for an additional veterinary surgeon to join their established and successful team! The practice offers easy access to the A12 and A14 as well as the beautiful nearby coast and countryside and London is just one hour away by train.

Sandra qualified from the RVC in 1997 and opened her practice 7 years ago as it gave her the opportunity to combine her love of being a vet with her passion for creating a happy and supportive work environment. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team made up of 4 vets, 5 RVNs (including head nurse, Lucy, who has also now become a partner), 1 student nurse, 1 veterinary care assistant and 6 receptionists. The team hold a variety of interests including animal behaviour, animal welfare and one member of the vet team is currently working towards their Certificate in Surgery.

The team are looking for a personable vet with confidence in routine surgical and medical cases and someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, clients and the team.

There is a real variety of cases, including those from the local animal rehoming centre and you will have access to excellent facilities including digital x-ray, ultrasound and in-house Idexx equipment; Catalyst 1, Lasercyte and Sedivue. In addition, you will also be working within a close team who have voted Ipswich Vets4Pets as the happiest workplace ever worked at!

This is a full time role with a weekend rota of just 1 in 2 Saturdays, no sole charge or out of hours.
