We have a vacancy for a full-time Deputy Theatre Supervisor within our busy multi-disciplinary referral practice in Surrey.
We are a purpose-built referral hospital, rapidly expanding in both building size and in staff numbers.This is an excellent career choice for a keen, experienced, qualified nurse. Experience in a referral theatre environment is essential.
We have a team of 23 Specialist clinicians across nine disciplines and 45 RVNs.
Theatre procedures include orthopaedics, including joint replacements, soft tissue surgeries, neurosurgery, ophthalmic surgeries such as phacoemulsifi cation and interventional cardiac procedures such as balloon valvuloplasty and pacemaker placement. We have a team of anaesthetists to assist with our cases.
The Deputy Theatre Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Theatre Supervisor in managing the day-to-day running of the theatres, including managing their own individual cases. They will also be able to ensure the smooth running of theatres in the absence of the Theatre Supervisor.
The salary, £27,000+ is dependent upon experience plus annual bonus and benefits include a generous CPD allowance.
