RVN (Part-time) - Huntingdon and Cambourne, Cambridgeshire
We are looking for part time nurses to join our nursing team who have the passion to deliver excellence in all aspects of veterinary nursing.
CVG is a busy 24-hour first opinion small animal hospital with 5 branch surgeries and a start of the art physiotherapy/hydrotherapy centre. Our practice has been caring for pets for over 100 years and we pride ourselves on providing gold standard veterinary medicine. Our tier 3 hospital has excellent facilities and equipment and hosts our dedicated out of hours service.
We like to be a part of our community and attend local carnivals and events to run fun dog show raising money each year for our chosen charity and encourage employees to take part if keen. Cromwell also holds regular social events for its employees including summer social’s impromptu lunchtime barbeques in the summer and a yearly Christmas party.
We are looking for registered veterinary nurses to join CVG who will be expected to complete all aspects of veterinary nursing. We have two positions at the main hospital in Huntingdon and one position at our Cambourne surgery.
Huntingdon nurse requirements – work 2 or 3 days a week, varied shift pattern, hours starting from 7am, last shift finishing at 10pm. Each shift on average is 8 hours long. We have a dedicated night team, however holiday and sickness cover is expected as required. Nurses are contracted to work weekend shifts, on average this is 1 shift every 4 weeks. We have a weekend on-call rota and on average we work one full weekend on-call 2-3 times a year. Branch cover is required for holiday and sickness cover. This role would suit a nurse who likes to be busy, work as part of a large team and have a varied role.
Cambourne nurse requirements – work a Monday and Tuesday, hours of work are 8.30-6pm. We have a dedicated night team, however holiday and sickness cover is expected as required. Nurses are contracted to work weekend shifts, on average this is 1 shift every 4 weeks. We have a weekend on-call rota and on average we work one full weekend on-call 2-3 times a year This role would suit a nurse who loves nurses clinics, working in a small team and acting as sole nurse.
