Full-time Veterinary Surgeon
Middlesbrough

Our professional, friendly and fun team in Middlesbrough provides a great working environment where work/life balance is high on our agenda. We are ideally looking for a veterinary surgeon with good experience as there will be some sole charge required every 1-in-3 Saturday mornings.

Our practice is 9 years old and we are getting busier all the time, providing an exciting varied workload. Our current team includes 4 full-time veterinary surgeons, 1 head RVN, 3 RVNs, 1 animal care assistant, 4 receptionists and a practice manager. We are hugely supportive of each other and take pride in the strong relationships we have built and continue to build with our large, loyal client base. There are no OOH with this role and only 1-in-3 weekends, (Saturday 9-12.30pm) allowing you to enjoy an excellent work/life balance.

Person Specification
You will be confident with all routine surgical procedures and special interests would be welcomed. Our purpose-built surgery has dedicated species wards, separate prep and operating theatres, digital x-ray and ultrasound.

The team is looking for a colleague who wants to: create strong bonds with our clients and pets; shows compassion to all; is friendly and approachable; has honest and open communications; wants to progress every day; be enthusiastic, fun and positive. These are our team values, made for the team by the team.

Benefits
As you would expect from the market leader in small animal veterinary care, we offer a supportive and friendly working environment together with career development opportunities and an excellent package including:

  • CPD allowance.
  • Exclusive company discounts including 25% reduction in vet bills and 20% off at Pets at Home and the Groom Room.

The salary package is negotiable commensurate with experience and the potential business/succession prospects for the future are good. CPD is funded and encouraged. If you share our passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and great customer service and would like to join our team, then we would love to hear from you.

We are an equal opportunities employer.
