Summary

Due to one of our much-loved colleagues relocating elsewhere, we are on the lookout for a new Vet, but not just any Vet! The successful candidate will need to be as passionate about client care as us which is no mean feat! The individual's character and personality are the all-important factors for us but we do need someone in this instance who is confident surgically and can hit the ground running.

It's a tough job being a vet which you will probably already know! With this in mind we feel it's so important to have a great work/life balance so that's what we try to offer. The role involves a 4 day working week with three 7pm finishes and then then the fourth day sees you leave work at 3pm… not far off a 3.5 day week really! 1 in 4 weekends and no OOH's as well.

From a salary point of view we are very competitive, I know… all adverts say that, but you'll have to trust us for now! The package includes 25 days holiday which equates to 6 weeks' worth and there is no cap on CPD allowance, if it's of benefit to you then it benefits the practice as well.

• 5 vet practice
• Very well-equipped - Dig xray, ultrasound, endoscope, laparoscopy…
• 4 day working week - 3 x 8:30-7pm shifts & 1 x 8-3pm
• 1 in 4 weekends - Saturday 8:30-4pm & Sunday 9:30-12:30pm
• No OOH's
• 15 minute appointment times

Key Skills and Qualifications

• RCVS registered
