OOH Emergency Small Animal Vet - South Yorkshire

This practice is part of an eight-branch group who work closely together to provide a high level of care. Their largest site is their Tier 3 accredited veterinary hospital, while their three other sites are fully functional operating branches, able to house day patients comfortably. Their remaining branches are single vet branches providing consultations only on-site. 

This Emergency Night Vet role comes with a salary up to £55,000 per annum (DOE).

This small animal hospital practice is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon interested in working in an emergency and critical care environment to complete their existing team. You will be part of an extremely friendly and supportive team of Vets, Registered Nurses and Receptionists. They have AVPs in multiple disciplines and ‘outstanding' in all 6 RCVS practice awards! A truly amazing team and practice to be part of!

The location of the practice offers great commuting links, with frequent trains to Sheffield (15 minutes away) and direct services to London, Leeds and Manchester. Cost of living is very reasonable. They can discuss relocation packages to help you with your move!

My client can offer a great work-life balance, working 7 nights on, 14 days off. You will be part of a well-established night service and work within a recently refurbished practice. You will benefit from on-call support and fantastic nursing staff. Where patients stay on site a handover of patient care is taken care of by our day team, you have the opportunity to follow your cases through and will be supported by an RVN during the night. You will enjoy a busy and varied caseload and have the opportunity to develop your skills with their CPD package and in-house training offered internally within the group.
