We are an established standalone small animal practice based in Luton and are looking for a qualified, registered, professional and enthusiastic individual who wishes to be part of a vibrant team.
The bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery is built to industry-leading standards and has state-of-the-art equipment including video endoscopy, digital x-rays, ultrasound, orthopaedic equipment and in-house Procyte/Catalyst IDEXX laboratory facilities.
The ideal candidate will be competent and experienced and able to assist the practice to grow further. However those requiring more support and development are also encouraged to apply. We have the track record of developing vets progress their clinical skills in a very supportive environment with an experienced team.
The practice has 3 vets, 3 nurses, 2 animal care assistants and 4 part time receptionists. Individual case follow up and vet continuity is encouraged. Clinical meetings are held regularly to help internal communication. The position is full time, will include weekends on a rota basis that allows life to continue outside work and will not involve any OOH. We offer the benefits of a 4-day week Mon-Fri to maintain work-life balance.
The team you will join are a committed team of individuals that continue to grow the business by providing exemplary customer service and excellent clinical standards. CPD is funded and encouraged. We have monthly clinical meetings and encourage team discussion about cases and this job will encourage you to excel in your areas of interest and progress your career.
