Recruiter: Scarsdale Veterinary Group

Pride Veterinary Centre, part of the Scarsdale Group is a dedicated veterinary practice in Derby offering a veterinary hospital, veterinary referrals, emergency pet care, pet resort and preventative pet healthcare.

Our nurses care for both primary and referral patients from simple to complex cases.  It’s an extremely rewarding career and all nurses are able to use a wide range of skills including feeding tubes, chest drains and airway management.

Additionally, we have 11 smaller community practices in and around Derbyshire and Burton On Trent. These nurses care for first opinion cases.

The teams are friendly, supportive and passionate about providing the highest standard of care to our patients.  Each day is different and we are always expanding our knowledge and learning new skills.  As well as your nursing colleagues you will be working alongside our referral and first opinion vets, interns, residents and our kennel assistants.

The word “opportunity” is used a great deal in vacancy adverts but working at Pride Veterinary Centre is a true example of genuine opportunity.  We are a growing business and due to newly opened positions, which have been taken by our current internal nurses, we are seeking additional nurses to join us.
