Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon - Stafford

An exciting opportunity for a Small Animal Vet to join a growing multi-site first opinion practice in the Staffordshire area.

The Practice:
Shires Vets is a long established first opinion practice in Staffordshire with six branches across the county. As a friendly team of 16 small animal vets and 20 nurses, we are big enough to have a great caseload, yet small enough to keep our personal touch with both our staff and clients.

The Role:
A  Veterinary Surgeon position is available at our recently refurbished and improved Eccleshall surgery. This surgery is now a full stand alone practice with full surgical, medical and imaging facilities but with a friendly small team which can provide great support for a less experienced colleague. This role also involves supporting the two satellite branches at Gnosall and Loggerheads for afternoon consulting.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a minimum 1 year in practice
• Be forward thinking and proactive
• Have a professional approach and be a great team player
• Be working with a friendly and progressive client base
• Ensure a high and improving standard of client care, communication and service
