Experienced Small Animal Vet, Southampton Hub

We have a great opportunity for a small animal Vet on the sunny south coast. At the ‘Southampton Hub', we have 5 sites in Chandlers Ford, Shirley, Southampton, Botley and Hamble. Due to expansion and rapid growth, we are looking for an experienced small animal vet who is comfortable working in our team and also (at some of our quieter sites) sole charge.

Passion

• Our clinical leaders have a passion for clinical standards that is infectious.  We take clinical governance seriously! We are always looking for ways to improve the patient and customer experience, so we ask for and act on client feedback.
• We know equipment makes your life easier so we have digital x-ray at 3 of our sites (soon to be 4) and multi-parameters at 3 sites. 
• We love a CPD hungry vet and will support a certificate if you are keen. 
• We are passionate about helping those in need, so we helped to set up StreetVet Southampton, which is based at our Brook House site.  Want to volunteer? We can adjust your rota to make this happen.

Compassion

• We know that vets and nurses work hard so we do all we can to provide a rota that gives good work: life balance.  Are we perfect?  No!  Is there weekend work on a shared rota?  Yes!  Are there some long days when our patients need us?  Yes!
• BUT, will we ensure you receive both a half day and an early finish every week so that you can do your own thing in the evenings.  YAY!  Will you have a 3 day weekend after working a Saturday?  YES!  Will we consider a job share?  YES, because we actively encourage flexible working
• We do pro bono work for Street Vet and treat stray animals brought in to us
