Make your weekends work at Vets Now High Wycombe

Out of hours doesn’t mean just working nights. Our clinic in High Wycombe has weekend day shift opportunities for Vet Surgeons looking to progress their Emergency and Critical Care career. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team who work to very high clinical standards.

Thrive in an adrenaline-fuelled caseload

By committing to one weekend day shift a month, you will thrive in an adrenaline-fuelled caseload and relish the opportunity to work for the market leader in Emergency and Critical Care. Saving lives on a regular basis requires a special breed of Vet Surgeon – one that’s confident medically and surgically and has a passionate and ambitious attitude.

Develop your ECC career around your lifestyle

Vets Now provides mentoring and coaching from experts in their field that empowers you to drive your career forward and deliver clinical excellence and high standards of pet care at all times. Perhaps you are working in day practice and missing the thrill of emergency cases. Possibly you’re looking to establish yourself in the emergency profession but are unable to commit to full time hours.

Stable and regular income plus a full package of benefits

Working in an emergency environment isn’t always easy. However, it presents a real opportunity to drive clinical excellence. Regardless of the hours you can commit to, we can offer a full package of benefits that could include:

  • CPD allowance
  • 6.6 weeks annual leave
  • private medical insurance (from April 2019)
  • pension contributions
  • full professional membership
  • 50% discounted staff pet care
  • death in service of two times annual salary
  • membership of employee wellbeing programme
  • company sick pay scheme
  • company maternity, paternity and adoption pay scheme
  • your birthday as a day off

Our clinical staff are also encouraged to attend our annual ECC Congress, the largest in the UK, which features an array of international accredited speakers, delegates and exhibitors.

Taking on a second job isn’t always easy but we will support you along the way. Please get in touch with James in our Talent Team to discuss on 01383 841181.
