We have experienced and dedicated teams and access to excellent facilities. These facilities include sixteen stables with boxes for critical care patients and foaling boxes and an operating theatre. We are a Clinical Associate Practice of the University of Nottingham. All TB Testers are based within this team and provide an outstanding service to client and non-client farmers due to their preventative healthcare activities.
The team
Our dedicated Farm team get to work in some of the most wonderful scenery across Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Nottinghamshire. We are based just outside the city centre, and work closely with the Equine team, supported by a dedicated Practice Manager, professional client care team, and office and dispensary support.
The team members at Markeaton are passionate and focussed about their work and animals. They are all totally supportive of each other and ready to share their opinions in an open and honest style.
The role

We would prefer those interested candidates who apply for this role to already hold the TB OV qualification but we would consider those who plan to gain this certificate during the first few months of employment with us.
The successful applicant will work a ten-day fortnight (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri week 1 and Mon to Sat week 2) working alongside our dedicated Farm Animal Team.
