Veterinary Surgeon - Aberlour

We are a friendly, mixed practiced situated in a beautiful part of the countryside with easy access to local town facilities. We’re also only approximately an hours drive from Aberdeen and Inverness airports. The area offers good schools and a great quality of life, with copious hill walking, skiing and sandy beaches nearby. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player for a genuinely mixed position, or we could accommodate a small animal only vet if preferred. We currently have the equivalent of 7 full time vets ranging from new graduates to 30 years + experience. We all take part in the out of hours rota and have two vets on call at all times, which will approximate to 1 night in 4, and 1 weekend in 4 with time off in lieu. Our annual holiday allowance is 33 days plus your birthday! We offer a generous salary commensurate with experience, and provide a work vehicle or allowance and accommodation or an allowance.

We are a friendly supportive team with qualified nurses and a progressive approach dedicated to providing our clients across species with the best service we possibly can. We have modern facilities at both branches including in house haematology/biochemistry, video endoscopy and high quality ultrasound. We strongly encourage CPD and the development of special interests, and would be happy to fund advanced certification.
