RVN - Central Scotland

A position is available for a full-time permanent RVN in a small animal practice. Newly qualified or experienced acceptable.

The Practice
We are a small animal only, independent practice with friendly happy staff to assist us in providing the best service we can to the local community. We have an in-house laboratory, digital X-ray, ECG and Ultrasound.  We have a well-stocked library of text books and funded CPD. We openly discuss our cases between us for support and continued learning from each other.

The Role
We are looking for an RVN to fill a 39 hour week, and a flexible shared Saturday morning rota. No on call or full weekends. The rota is based on 2 nurses covering each day.

Successful Candidate
The ideal candidate would be happy monitoring anaesthetics, placing i/v catheters, taking blood samples. Nurse clinics are available to clients so some experience of consulting is also required, in particular weight clinics, post op checks, and puppy/kitten advise and worming clinics.

The Package
Salary is dependent on experience, CPD funded, VDS cover provided.  Temporary accommodation can also be provided in a shared flat if required.
