Our thriving small animal surgery in Basildon Pitsea is growing again and as a result we are recruiting for an additional day vet to join us!

Due to the experience within the existing team, we are looking for either a full time vet with approx. 1-2 years’ experience or a more experienced vet looking for part time hours (between approx. 21-30 hours per week).

We are conveniently based at the busy Old Market Retail Park just off the A13 and benefit from free on-site parking, easy access to the M25, 20 minutes from the seaside and direct trains into London and Southend.

You will find us to be a friendly, cheerful and progressive practice and the team consists of 6 vets, 6 RVNs, 1 practice manager, 1 finance coordinator and 7 receptionists. We have state of the art equipment including ultrasound and endoscope and we were the first 1^st opinion practice in Essex to get a CT scanner. We have recently expanded our service offering and now have a dedicated night team allowing all cases to remain in house.

We pride ourselves on the strong relationships we have built with our clients and patients and we are looking for personable vets who are passionate about providing an excellent service.  

The full time role would involve working 4 weekdays with a weekday off each week and part time hours would be between approx. 21-30 hours per week. There is a 1 in 4 weekend rota and only occasional sole charge responsibility.
