Night Veterinary Surgeon – Skeldale Veterinary Centre, North Yorkshire

We have an exciting opportunity an experienced veterinary surgeon to work at the famous Skeldale practice in North Yorkshire which was originally a James Herriot practice and now on TV as the Yorkshire vet!

The night staff will be supported by a team of seven experienced day vets, nurses and support staff. This role will involve working 26 weeks of the year on an attractive 7 nights on, 7 nights off rota with a full-time salary and benefits.

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated night vet with a passion for emergency and critical care who enjoys working to a gold standard. All our clinics share the same software so you will have full access to the patients’ history at all times. Case continuity guaranteed!

Medivet is able to issue Certificates of Sponsorship for Tier 2 (General) Visas for suitable veterinary surgeon candidates*

This purpose-built practice is on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Moors with good road links to the A1M and only two hours and thirty minutes away from London. Skeldale is fully equipped with an in-house laboratory, dental suite, newly renovated surgical theatre and much more!  

Good communication skills are a must, alongside confidence and a can-do approach.
