Veterinary Surgeon - Lincolnshire

We are looking for a 4th Vet to join the team, it’s a 4 day (40 hour) week, 2 early finishes per week, 1 in 4 OOH rota and 4 day weekend every 4 weeks.

A generous salary and CPD (Certs actively encouraged), 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays. The position would suite a vet of any experience, we are supported by a great reception team, 5 RVN’s and 3 ANA’s.

The practice boasts a high cardiology, medicine, soft tissue and orthopaedic case load (1st & 2nd opinion). We have high quality ultrasound, digital x-rays and a comprehensive in-house lab.

The Practice
Wolds Veterinary Clinic and Surgical Referral Service is an independent practice with a very loyal client base. It has grown rapidly on the ethos of high quality care of staff, pets and clients.

Humberston, is a village on the edge of Cleethorpes. With cheap housing and good schools between the golden beaches of the east coast and the Lincolnshire Wolds, it’s a great place to live and bring up a family, or either kite surfing on the North Sea or walking in the Wolds.

The Role
We are looking for a 4th vet to join our team. We have a very varied first and second opinion caseload. Our vets have a fair amount of operating/consulting on a daily basis. There is great flexibility and case work-up/follow-up for continuity is actively encouraged.

The Package
We are offering a generous salary between £35,000-£60000, dependent on experience. £1500 CPD allowance but this can be increased for eg Certifications. A 4 day working week, averaging a 40 hour week. 5 weeks holiday a year, plus bank holidays. A 1 in 4 out of hours rota, which includes an early finish after a night on call, and a 4 day weekend following a weekend on call.
