Head Veterinary Nurse - Cockfosters, Barnet

We are recruiting for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join our practice in Cockfosters, North London.

This role offers a salary of £27,300 - £28,351 per annum with £300 CPD allowance with 2 days CPD leave and in-house training. RCVS and BVNA fees paid.

About the practice;

Medivet Cockfosters is a beautiful and spacious practice, equipped with all of our staple facilities and access to state-of-the-art technology via our local Medivet hospital.

The successful candidate will be joining a fantastic team, consisting of two experienced vets, three nurses and one PCA. Here, you will be responsible for a variety of nursing duties as well as sharing best practice with your team and helping to support and develop the student nurses in your practice.

The practice is supported by our 24-hour hospital in Enfield to continue the exceptional care for your clients and patients during out of hours.

All of our head nurses are provided with dedicated support from our Support Centre. Here, the stress of managing your rota, recruitment, H&S, practice standards, marketing (and much more) is taken care of, and while there are still admin duties involved in your role, this support will allow you to spend more time managing your team and doing what you love, nursing!

Cockfosters has good transport links into Central London, plenty of shops and restaurants in the local area and Trent Park just a short walk away.
