Small animal practice seeks experienced part time Veterinary Surgeon for first opinion practice.

The Practice
Small Independent Family run practice with 10-20 min consulting  periods. Low pressure. Have time to work up cases the way you want to. Pleasant Suffolk Market Town with easy links  to London.

The Role
Routine small animal  consults and surgery. Must be confident and competent for periods of sole charge.

Successful Candidate
Someone seeking part time work in the Ipswich area. Need to already have all  the usual  competencies, communication and people skills that day to day small animal work requires. Extra qualifications and abilities  welcome and rewarded but not essential.

The Package
Pro rata salary and CPD package.

Martin Hyde BVSc MRCVS has been qualified and practicing as a Veterinary Surgeon for over 30 years.   He first came to work in East Anglia in 1991 and settled in Suffolk in 2001 with his family, his pet tortoise, and labrador Billy.

Martin has extensive surgical and medical experience drawn from over twenty five years working in hospital and general practice.  He has a particular interest in X-ray and ultrasound and is a skilled general surgeon.

The surgery offers high quality veterinary care to cats, dogs, rabbits and other small pets including of course tortoises!   These services include
