Job Details
Genuinely mixed, independent, mainly small animal practice requires colleague. We are a busy, friendly 6-7 vet team with all the expected facilities including support. Based on the fringe of the beautiful Cumbrian Lake District and near to the coast, we are ideally located for lovers of the outdoors. VN training practice and Investor in People Gold with No TB testing. Great package and prospects for the right candidate, including car and accommodation, would suit experienced or new graduate. Would suit Small Animal practitioner able & willing to do mixed OOH’s.
The Practice
Great team, lovely area near the fells and sea. Mixed, mainly small 80/20.
Location
On the edge of the western lake district. Between the coastal town of Whitehaven and Cleator Moor.
The Role
Mixed Vet, but would also suit Small Animal practitioner willing and able to do mixed OOH’s

Galemire Hospital was originally established in 1966 as a general mixed, but mainly large animal, veterinary practice based in a Victorian built human infectious diseases hospital. In 1985 Galemire became a veterinary hospital, and now has state of the art facilities and equipment. The majority of our work is now of a small animal nature.
We now have two sites in Cumbria, the hospital in Cleator Moor, and our surgery in Workington
