The Practice
Newnham Court Veterinary Hospital (originally established in the 1920’s) has been always been a pioneer practice within Kent setting the highest standards and offering a first-class experience for both clients and employees. Our purpose-built hospital is fully equipped with all the latest gadgets and technology. The team are supported by our directors who each posses’ years of expertise in a vast array or areas from dermatology to orthopaedics.

The Role
Newnham Court Veterinary Hospital is looking for an Emergency vet to join our highly experienced and friendly team.

We have been an independently run practice for over a century, providing quality care to our clients and their pets in Maidstone, Kent. Set close to local transport links our location is easy to travel to through public transport and via car. We offer twenty-four-hour cover for not only our clients, but to our subscribing practices in the surrounding areas.

We pride ourselves on our gold standards of care, and our team members are at the forefront of everything we do. The practice is led by our guiding principles that encourages team work, commitment, reputation and satisfaction for both our valued employees and clients.

Our fully equipped and modern hospital offers two operating theaters, X-Ray, dental and ultrasound suits, an isolation ward, separate cat and dog wards, an on-site laboratory and all the latest “toys”.

You will be working as an emergency vet as part of a four-vet team covering 7-night shifts and two days on a 1:4-week rota. This rota offers great flexibility and work life balance.

Successful Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced and dedicated night vet with a passion for emergency and critical care - who enjoys working to high standards. Will be confident in a sole change role in a busy hospital environment Fluent in written and verbal English Previous experience in using the RX Works PMS system is an advantage.
