International Technical Advisor – UK Based (must live near a major international airport) – Up to £45,000
Are you a qualified vet who has a passion for travel, a positive mental attitude, and an excellent understanding of the pharmaceutical/nutritional supplement market?
If you are, then we have the perfect role for you!
Working for VetPlus, you'll be travelling across Europe as our Veterinary Technical Advisor, meaning that you'll be overseas for 80% of the working calendar. This role is not for the faint hearted, but for the right candidate it is an excellent opportunity to work for a globally renowned brand, acting as our ambassador and technical specialist.
About you
- Qualified vet who has worked in practice with small animal experience.
- Possess a positive mental attitude who understands the pharmaceutical and nutritional supplement market.
- Customer driven with strong interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft programme (in particular Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Language abilities desirable

The Tangerine Group is a privately held company based in Lytham. Within the group are ten limited companies, each operating as stand-alone entities. We specialise in the manufacture and sales of animal health and nutrition products for farm and companion animals, including veterinary and equine products.

VetPlus was founded in 1995 by David Haythornthwaite, the company’s current owner. David, who lived in the USA for thirteen years, had identified America’s growing interest in veterinary nutraceuticals:
“Substances produced in a purified or extracted form that are administered orally to provide or stimulate production of raw materials required for normal bodily functions.”
Pioneer
Coming from an agricultural background and recognising that most good ideas eventually cross the Atlantic to Europe he returned to the UK determined to develop his own range of veterinary products. Starting from a bedroom in Lytham, David took the original concept and pioneered the development and acceptance of nutraceuticals within the UK veterinary profession.
There are many reasons for the company’s success but in principal they are built around two key strategies:
