We need a keen, enthusiastic vet to join the team in our SA vet hospital on the south coast, in Christchurch.  Working with certificate holders in surgery, cardiology, dentistry and ophthalmology you will have time to work up cases and achieve job satisfaction in our independent, 3 branch practice where we are proud of our non-corporate status. Recent graduates (1-3yrs) will find this position particularly beneficial for development and support with exposure to a wide variety of cases.

You will have time with your clients to work up cases to high clinical standards and have one day operating each week.  With one day off per week, we achieve a good work-life balance and we are proud to provide our own on-call service. We are RCVS approved and an accredited nurse training centre.

  • Our Hospital is accredited the highest practice standard by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.  We adopt best practice routinely and we are also an approved nurse training centre.
  • Other vets refer their clients to us for dental and ophthalmic treatment
  • Outstanding clinical facilities including a brand new dental suite

  • Our inpatients receive round the clock care. We are the only local Tier 3 veterinary hospital providing our own emergency care and giving 24 hour advice and monitoring.
