We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced night colleague to join our large and rapidly growing 24/7 business! This unique role will suit you if you are looking for the next step in your career and looking to take on some new and exciting challenges.

We are looking primarily for a veterinary surgeon to work as part of the clinical night team as a hands on clinician. In addition the Critical Care Manager will help grow our business, refine our emergency offering and develop protocols to best serve our patients. The successful candidate will liaise directly with the Joint Venture Partner as well as taking responsibility for managing the out of hours team. This role would attract a supplementary pay increase to reflect the responsibility and expertise required.

Our experienced night team perform urgent and emergency appointments including surgery and care of hospitalised inpatients as needed. This ‘awake’ night role is very flexible working 7 shifts over a 21 day rota (an average of 40 hours). Rotas include all holiday and CPD allowance but shifts can arranged and swapped with other colleagues to suit your personal interests or requirements. Part time hours will also be considered as part of a job share.

You will work alongside regular day colleagues until 10pm during the week and 7pm on the weekends, and take sole charge after. This role will especially suit clinicians either with, or wishing to develop, an interest in emergency medicine / surgery and critical care.
